Originally designed for self defense, Tai Chi has been refined into a slow, graceful, rhythmic exercise which has the effect of promoting good health regardless of ones current health or physical condition.
During practice, the movement of a relaxed body with a calm mind improves the nervous system, blood circulation, and increases flexibility and strength. These benefits are unmatched by other forms of body discipline.
